Simply strap on your touring skis and off you go, up the mountain! The Rittner Horn is one of the most popular areas for ski touring in South Tyrol, both for beginners and professionals. Exercise in the fresh air, the anticipation of a good meal in the huts and a beautiful downhill run afterwards: there are many reasons to go on a piste tour.
Piste touring
The ascent track is currently not yet active due to a lack of snow. Until the ascent track is opened for piste touring, it is strictly forbidden to enter the rest of the piste area (ski slopes or toboggan run) in the Rittner Horn ski area.
Conclusion: only the designated ascent track may be used and this is currently not yet in operation. The demarcations and signposting are already in place, but the ascent track is only partially covered with snow.
