To the north, you can catch a glimpse of the Stubai Alps gracefully peeking out behind the immense range of the Sarntal Alps. On clear days, and of those we have more than a few, you can make out Ortler in the west, and see all the way to Großglockner in the east. This view is fabulously stunning all year round, so a trip to Rittner Horn becomes an unforgettable experience - in summer and winter alike.
You can reach the peak at an altitude of 2260 meters by taking the gondola from Pemmern/Tre Vie to Schwarzseepitze and from thence it’s about an hour hike up to the top. In winter, you can simply ride the T-bar to the peak on your skis or snowboard.
And then it’s easy - stoked on the magnificent view – to enjoy a fun day on the gentle, vast slopes of the ski resort Rittner Horn, and stumble into its fantastic huts that invite to deliciously warm and cheerful refreshment stops.
