Ritten can be easily reached from Bolzano/Bozen train station by public transport:
Bus 165 departs from the bus station in Bolzano (next to the train station) every half hour on weekdays from Monday to Friday and every hour on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It runs via Unterinn to Klobenstein, the main town in the municipality of Ritten, with connections to the individual villages. Timetable

Take the Ritten cable car up to Oberbozen in just 12 minutes every four minutes. During the day, the Ritten narrow-gauge railroad continues to Klobenstein every half hour, with departures every hour in the morning and evening. The valley station of the Renon cable car is centrally located in Bolzano and is only a 10-minute walk from Bolzano train station.
